The cell-free protein expression (CFPS) system is an in-vitro transcription/translation platform that uses exogenous DNA or mRNA templates. Proteins are synthesized in clarified cell extracts or fully reconstituted mixtures containing the necessary ribosomes, enzymes, cofactors, amino acids, and energy components—without relying on living cells. Free from cellular metabolism and compartmental constraints, CFPS enables rapid, scalable protein production. Common formats include E. coli lysate, insect cell lysate, wheat germ, and rabbit reticulocyte systems.
This kit supports fast, high-efficiency expression of target proteins from plasmid or linear DNA templates. It employs a coupled transcription–translation workflow to produce protein in a single, “one-pot” reaction. The ready-to-use mix provides all reagents required for in-vitro expression—enzymes, energy system, amino acids, nucleotides, and inorganic salts—offering simple setup and robust yields.
